“Corona Connection” nightly music series to be hosted by Department of Music

The University of Tennessee at Martin Department of Music is hosting a nightly web series at 7 p.m., beginning March 16, titled “Corona Connection” as a way to continue engaging students and community members during the COVID-19 outbreak.

The interactive Facebook Live series will feature various guest performers teaching singer/songwriter skills, music education and production.

The schedule for this week’s performances is as follows:

  • March 16: Keegan Paluso, “How to Make it as a DIY Musician”
  • March 17: Dru Davidson, “Culturally Responsive Teaching”
  • March 18: Alexis Derryberry, “Hip Hop & You Don’t Stop”
  • March 19: Doug Owens, “Faculty Woodwind Recital”
  • March 20: Reece King, “Multiple Careers in Music”
